Nights, room, total. The same five numbers Eléni writes on the pad when the telephone rings — except that you write them, and she only has to answer yes or no.Βραδιές, δωμάτιο, σύνολο.

Put two dates in and the sum writes itself — nights, room, total, at the rate printed on the board and nothing else.Βάλτε δύο ημερομηνίες και ο λογαριασμός γράφεται μόνος του — βραδιές, δωμάτιο, σύνολο, με την τιμή του πίνακα και τίποτε άλλο.

This adds up; it does not book. We cannot see the calendar from here and we will not pretend to — the button sends Eléni the sum above so she can answer with one word instead of five messages. Nothing is taken, and the room is held on the fact that you said you were coming.Αυτό αθροίζει· δεν κλείνει.

Anastásis Voulgáris cut the lintels himself in 1911. His initials are on the one over the kitchen door; we have never painted over them. There is no lift, the lane is steps, and the stair inside is steep — we say that here rather than at the door.Ο Αναστάσης Βουλγάρης πελέκησε ο ίδιος τα ανώφλια το 1911.

We would rather tell you that here than have you discover it upstairs. The window reveals are deep enough to sit in.Η Καμάρα και το Φανάρι.
